Dr. Melissa Chu Donald, OD
Dr. Melissa C. Donald earned her doctorate of optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Originally from Lexington, MA, she received her bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, from Harvard University.
After Dr. Donald graduated from PCO, she completed a residency at the Philadelphia Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Her training included eye care in clinics such as contact lens, low vision, cornea, and neuro-ophthalmology. Subsequently, Dr. Donald performed medical eye examinations and low vision evaluations at the Manchester Veterans Affairs Medical Center in New Hampshire. She is a member of the American Academy of Optometry, the American Optometric Association, and the New Hampshire Optometric Association.
Prior to her career in optometry, Dr. Donald completed a master’s degree in Technology in Education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Outside of the office, she enjoys drawing and hiking.
Dr. Donald welcomes you and your family to the practice for comprehensive eye examinations, contact lens fittings, and treatment of eye disease. Dr. Donald sees patients at both the Merrimack and Manchester locations.
